our ethos

We offer a great choice of both refined and unusual dishes as well as pub classics, signature home-made pies and a constantly changing specials board.

Our head chef Kenny Markham and his talented and passionate team create fresh, seasonal menus and a selection of tempting daily specials.

We prepare as much of our food as possible in-house, including chutneys, soups, stocks, sauces and desserts.

Our mission is to integrate interesting & varied vegan, vegetarian & pescatarian dishes into our core menu.

This means that 38% of our dishes are vegan, 42% are vegetarian, & almost 55% are suitable for pescatarians.

For a more personal experience, whether for a special lunch or dinner, or a more formal business meeting, our Private Dining Room makes every event memorable.

The menus can be tailored to family style sharing meals for a more social occasion, up to a six course tasting menu – a culmination of all that we do.

An impressive 74% of our menu dishes are either naturally gluten free or have a GF option.

go NUTS!

A whopping 88% of our dishes are nut free, although all our food is created in an environment where nuts are present - and that’s just the chefs!

All allergens are listed on our menus, but please let us know if you have any food allergies so we can assist you with your selections.

We are proud to be part of the “Eat Out Eat Well” scheme which makes it easier for customers to make healthy choices when eating out. Look for this symbol on our menu!

and what about the kids...?

We encourage children to eat with everyone else because we believe that they deserve good food too!

We offer many of our dishes on the main menu in child portion sizes (please ask), and we also have a separate children’s menu where we try to offer a nutritionally balanced meal in a child-friendly format.
